I think you like this man & used the holiday to tell him how you feel. If you are involved with someone though while chatting it up with another man that’s cheating and you need to either stop chatting up this man or stop seeing the other. Fair is fair you know. And if not, well I hate to say this but internet relationships just don’t work out & that’s not even delving into the continental divide. I don’t think the issue here is that you spent $200 on a man you don’t know except via chatting online. I think the problem is that you’ve invested a huge amount of time & energy & heart into a fantasy relationship. I know this isn’t what you want to hear & yes you do have a mental connection and probably a heart connection to this man but unless he up and moves to be with you or vise versa, you’re pouring your energy into something that will never materialize.

Just as long as he knows what the limit of what you meant the gifts to be. But i'm the same way =] Make people happy! I personally don't think it's too much. I don't think there is a too much.
